Scatterplot matrices are a great way to roughly determine if you have a linear correlation between multiple variables.
For a set of data variables (dimensions) X1, X2, … , Xk, the scatter plot matrix shows all the pairwise scatter plots of the variables on a single view with multiple scatterplots in a matrix format.
This is the most basic scatter plot you can do, just calling the plot function.
# Data example
data=mtcars[ , c(1,3:6)]
#Make the plot
plot(data , pch=20 , cex=1.5 , col=rgb(0.5, 0.8, 0.9, 0.7))
