A lollipop plot is an hybrid between a scatter plot and a barplot. It shows the relationship between a numerical variable and another variable, numerical OR

categorical. In this section we will consider Cleveland dot plots as well, allowing to compare the values of 2 numerical values for each group. Using the ggplot2

library, we can build stem plot using a combination of geom_segment() and geom_point() as explained below.
