R provides very good tools for 3d graphics. The first is the persp function, which lets us use perspective. Then, the plot3d package created several functions derived from persp. Nevertheless, the most powerfull tool for 3d use in R is probably the rgl package maintained by Duncan Murdoch. Most of the figures below have been made using this package. Note that it allows us to create interactive plots : you can make them move, zoom-in etc. If you want to learn how to use rgl, I recommend you read the overview of the package, and run every exemple that is provided below !
